Plants Amidst Zombies

The last few days were good–I had a nice speech delivery for a major subject amidst necessary panic; I had some of the best times with my closest friends amidst academic labor; and I obtained a crucial literature I need for my thesis amidst willful ignorance. Fate has been good to me.  Well, I just don’t know how long she’ll be that way.

These are the rest of the good stuff:

I just found my favorite chocolate bar. I’ll exchange a giant Snickers for this:

Haiku

My haiku is also featured at Professor Ponsaran’s blog. This means I’ll get 5 additional points for recitation, yay.

Zombies

Even though I sacrificed a lot of time for my academic bout, I still bleed procrastination. My thesis becomes colder, though I try my best to spark some flame on it. My internship portfolio cries in juvenile isolation though I overfeed it with daily maturity pills. And I have a lot of tasks unfinished though I systematically remind myself about these personal horrors . Here’s the worse thing: I don’t do anything about them until they reach the fifth level of alarm. Whatever happened to my new year’s resolution. Oh well, I need to work my ass out now.

 

The Clock. And my Graduation Picture.

There’s a reason why my graduation picture is placed near our clock: It reminds me that I’m graduating soon; And it reminds me that I need to finish all the things I need to do on or before the dreaded deadlines. Thanks for the warning.

    i can relate to this… yesterday, we shoot for our grad pics… at nagssecond thought ba kami kung ggraduate or magiging souvenir na lang yung grad pic?lol..yes…plants vs zombies is the newest distraction kahit walang net. all you have to do is to ctrl+del the addicting folder :)
