aLps: I don’t feel I’m going to Law School. Another four years of studying suck. Do you still want to go to Med School?
Neko: Yes. Another five years of studying. Another couple of years for residency, and another set of years for fellowship. Now tell me you don’t want to go to Law School. ∞
When our favorite television show goes to a break, most of us search for another interesting show then switch back to the show we are originally watching. But when I see these advertisements on television, my initial reaction upon understanding its surface message is to analyze what is within. Yeah I know, it’s the geeky me. But I love thinking, and I can’t stop it. :P
The advertisement of Taheebo Tea and Capsules featuring Charlene Gonzales is just another commercial. But her one line there really caught my attention:

Sa akin tea, sa mga daddy, capsule. (For me tea, For daddies, capsule)

It has been a while since the latest craze finally came to an end, with the bigger David pronounced as this season’s American Idol with 12 million votes ahead from Archuleta. Now everyone has his or her own blog entry about the just-out-of-the-oven news, but I would be having a different approach. If you think about it, Cook’s being ahead by 12 million votes tells us that he is no doubt THE American Idol. But for some days before the final results night, all are having this assertion that it would be hard to tell who would be the successor of Jordin Sparks. Add to the fact that Simon Cowell, during the final performance night, stabbed Cook (in his long-faced front) in favor of Archuleta. But hey, being ahead by 12 million votes speaks for itself. And why did it happen?
Janelle: I’m sorry, I just enlisted my subjects so I am still sabog.
aLps: It’s OK, I am wondering if I am an entity of disturbance. I hope I am not.
Janelle: Do you talk like that in real life?
aLps: NO! Jologs ako. :P ∞

Why do most of the Filipino youth nowadays
take pictures at Starbucks/other obscure cafes that serve similar drinks?
aLvina: They are others that’s why they are insignificant.
aLps: In their perspective, you are an other too. :) ∞
It has been 48 hours since SmartBro has gone jackass. But obviously, he just turned normal right now. This kind of Ang Pambansang Broadband had kept me bored for the past two days:

Dawn: I just love children <3.
aLps: I also love children. And I really want to have my own child RIGHT NOW!
Dawn: Same here aLps, same here. RIGHT NOW!
aLps: Fwew, buti na lang I’m not RIGHT THERE. :P ∞
I have been inspired by Jex’s My Most Ever Macho Pic blog entry to write a similar entry. It is an inspiration in the sense that I can relate to his experiences. Well not all of those written in his entry but I believe that at least the core of his story is where I could relate myself to.
The start of ‘em all
When my mom gave birth to me, the nurses and even her doctor thought that she is a Japayuki. I was really Japanese-slash-Chinese-looking during my not-so-far toddler years. I have singkit eyes and really white skin. My relatives always wanted to carry me and play with me whenever they are around. My aunt actually did adopt me for a while and I attributed this action to me looking irresistibly cute. Haha. I also have long hair then, adding more doubt to my real sex. When I was about 3-5 years old, my relatives always make fun of me by dressing me like a girl. Well, my girl cousins are also dressed like a boy. So what’s so special about me? People thought that I was really a girl and asked why am I not cross-dressed.
The Homeless Billionaire

When I first met Nicolas Berggruen, I was struck by two things. First, he was a multi-billionaire I’d never heard of — the most interesting kind. Second, he didn’t own a home.
