I actually do not know her (now). This picture is something I got from someone during my high school days (vagueness much?). I believe that there is a certain story why I got this picture and I believe that I (once) knew the name of this girl. Oh well, I don’t know why I have a poor memory. I just recently seen this picture in my memory box (Yes, I do have one, and yes, how ironic). It’s hard to start from blank. But hey, although I admit that she’s beautiful (THE smile!), I do not have any plans of pursuing anything-beyond-admiration (I just, theoretically, pursued something-beyond-admiration, LOL). And wow, look at the smile, she *reminds* me of someone else’s smile (Nikki and Rish agree).

If you know anything about this girl or you know this girl or you think that this is someone you know, free to contact me in any (human) medium you want. Haha.

We just had our Impromptu speaking activity for our Communication III (Speech Communication) Class. We are asked to pick three words/concepts form three perky boxes of Madame Inton. We are given 5 minutes to integrate those words/concepts into a sensible speech. The three words/concepts that I have picked are Bill Gates, Shirley Temple and Rallies. I decided to talk about the Nature of University of the Philippines Students. Well, I would not be elaborating how Bill Gates, Shirley Temple and Rallies are connected to the students of Philippines’ premiere state university (I know, UP students are vain, but sometimes, they rather be humble. Haha). But anyway, I know it was benta. Here is how my Speech Evaluation Form looked like (The ones in purple font are stronger points; the ones in red are weak points). I got a score of 95 points (1.25), a score away from Uno! Oh well, I was in a debater mode during my impromptu speech so I was literally a Machine Gun of Words.

I have been eying for this gadget this holiday season. The retail price already dropped to its promotional price (52k something down to 48k something). What’s more, you’ll get a free 1GB RAM upgrade and a free cellphone (A Motorola W218). When we went there hours ago to finally buy it, the promo was already gone, except for the free cellphone. The free RAM upgrade was down to 512MB. The sales staff tried to convince the sortaf manager to give the 1GB RAM but the sortaf manager did not appease our cravings for more memory. But hey, there’s a compensation: They would be giving us a free Headset (which is apparently a cheapo one), a free 2GB flash drive, a free carrying case (which is btw a staple for all laptop manufacturers), (still) a free cellphone and a special offer: 2GB RAM upgrade for only 1.5k! Nice deal eh? But my parents insisted a free 2GB RAM upgrade. But the sortaf manager wouldn’t give in. So we looked in other shops hoping there’s a better deal. The one in Asianic has a loser deal: free 1GB RAM upgrade and a 1GB flash drive. We ended up buying the happy deal in Accent Micro. :D Yey!
