A Supposedly Ordinary Day

I woke up at the time I am supposed to do so. I did my morning rituals and left home with the ordinary logic I have everyday. It is not fine day but I can still feel that the weather is still conducive enough for a peaceful SocSci2 class. Without my notice, I have just seen Manila flooded. I am not surprised nor excited about it since it is a thing to see in the city ever since I got my young feet in Manila. I still felt that there is no suspension of classes until I have seen Taft Avenue and Padre Faura flooded like hell. I have no choice but to fuse my feet with the mysterious wanderings of water. I thought it would be easy since I am wearing rubber slippers but I was wrong. There was a tendency of the slippers to “stick” to the road and as a result, it is hard to pull your feet back i.e. to walk. I know it concerns physics and all that jazz but I don’t care. Haha. And there was a moment when my one slipper got to the waving waters and I have to get it! Thank God, the chasing scene is not that harsh and not a public exhibition. Haha. So what I did is to walk without my slippers up to the CAS gate. But, of course, I decided to wear them back prior to my official entrance to the college. When I got to our classroom, my block mates told me that there are no classes because Sir Jal is like trapped in his place. Haha. Minutes passed by and it’s official, all levels are suspended. But hey, it’s too late! But anyway, we just had some friendly conversation. I also enjoyed myself in listening to some good Fall Out Boy music. Yey!

Cats and Text Messages

We decided to go down to RH Lobby but we soon realized that all the benches are occupied. So we decided to have random location shifts. Haha. Jemi and I went to talk and mingle with a cat–a big one. Buy hey, she’s not dirty. Haha. Afterwards, we stayed in one of the benches located outside RH, just in the facade. After some time, Marvin texted me. I don’t know why. And it is quite weird since we just have some text marathons every weekends or any day we are doing nothing. He just asked how I am and how I struggled the flooded streets of Manila. From that moment, I already sensed he is starting a conversation marathon. Well, it is OK for me, we are friends right. Oh, best friends I mean.

Lotus Creams and Sex Manuals

I, Jemi and Rish then decided to eat lunch at Rob. I ate my baon first at the food court then off we went to Chowking. I ordered Lotus Creams for desert. A little talk then we went to comfort ourselves at the, erm, comfort rooms. Jemi left soon then Rish and I waited for Arvin then we went to Power Books to have some intellectual window shopping. But we are strucked with some sex manuals. Hahaha. Actually, Rish wants to buy one!

Sleeping is Resistance

When I rode the bus bound for Alabang, Marvin and I are still talking to each other. But he then planned to take a rest. Of course, I allowed him to do so. Haha. The rain and wind came again. But the one bugged me is the heavy traffic from Quirino Avenue to the whole Osmeña Highway! The traffic spanned three cities: Manila, Makati and Pasay! Cramps! I think it took me three hours and a half sitting inside the bus! But the traffic did not really stress me since I got to have good naps during the wicked ride.

And Tomorrow’s the Same

Yihess! We have no classes tomorrow! Woot!
