Wake-up ALps
Amidst the cold morning, a text message woke me up. Actually, Vector (my mobile phone’s name) wakes me up whenever he receives a text message but I go back to sleep when I realize that those messages are sent in a group (More popularly known as a “Group Message”). But when I saw one coming from Marvin, I am back to the world of the awake. Marvin is not fond of sending GMs so I know it’s a personalized one. He greeted me Good Morning and said that he is bound for Lawton to fetch Lanie. Lanie is going to Marvin’s house because she is invited to the birthday celebration of Marvin’s father. We had a little conversation until all of a sudden, I was already texting Lanie. Of course, she teases me about Marvin. Oh yeah, I am (We are) already immune. LOL.
Live! Journal
A couple of minutes later, I got myself online and fixed my Friendster profile and LJ account. Wee, I love both of them. For my Friendster profile, I used an pre-made layout then just edited it so the color theme would be dark green and olive green. Halovit! For my LJ, it seems to be pretty simple but I guess complexity is not so me. Although I concede I am a little sophisticated at some times :P.
Stroll at the Mall
I, my sister and my mother decided to go to the Festival Supermall. My sister would be meeting her classmates and my mother would have her bag repaired at Marithé et François Girbaud. And I? I just want myself out our house. I and my mother first went to the department store to buy a gift for Ivan. My mother decided to buy a toy robot for him since it’s his favorite toy. Then off we went to some bag and fashion stores. My sister also came by after while. I hate mall strolling with girls, Oh well. But I am a little happy when my mom bought me a top from Solo. Haha. But geez, its size is XS! I decided to return it for a S size on Monday. Tsk. Anyway, we ate at Chowking for some hot stuff then we then went to have buy some groceries.
That Timepiece!
I am so in-loved with the Casio timepiece I saw! Woot! It costs PhP3,000.00! I want to buy it! I hope it wouldn’t be gone until the 30th! When I got home, I am still thinking of it until I fell asleep :P.
Last night, PAG-ASA, NDCC and some other organizations had a meeting and a press conference for a possible announcement of suspension of classes. After some time, it is official, the classes are suspended for tomorrow or for today (Friday). When I heard it, I texted the block for the exciting announcement. But really, I want to go to UPm. Sad. I also texted Marvin about the announcement because I am assuming that he is so busy studying that he can’t hear or watch about the announcement. And as I expected, he didn’t know it.
After my night rituals, I am now ready to go to sleep. And yes, I overslept. When I woke-up, I had my usual stretching exercises. Cramps, I am so desperate in growing a little taller. I ate two Ensaymada, drank my vitamins and then, yes, slept again. When I woke up (Phase 2 of waking up), I ate my late lunch and had some internet surfing. I originally planned to make my OrCom101 notes but I am cursed not to do it. LOL.
I and Wynne also had some text conversation. I also told her about an issue. Hmm.
Here I am, doing nothing. Oh well.
A Supposedly Ordinary Day
I woke up at the time I am supposed to do so. I did my morning rituals and left home with the ordinary logic I have everyday. It is not fine day but I can still feel that the weather is still conducive enough for a peaceful SocSci2 class. Without my notice, I have just seen Manila flooded. I am not surprised nor excited about it since it is a thing to see in the city ever since I got my young feet in Manila. I still felt that there is no suspension of classes until I
have seen Taft Avenue and Padre Faura flooded like hell. I have no choice but to fuse my feet with the mysterious wanderings of water. I thought it would be easy since I am wearing rubber slippers but I was wrong. There was a tendency of the slippers to “stick” to the road and as a result, it is hard to pull your feet back i.e. to walk. I know it concerns physics and all that jazz but I don’t care. Haha. And there was a moment when my one slipper got to the waving waters and I have to get it! Thank God, the chasing scene is not that harsh and not a public exhibition. Haha. So what I did is to walk without my slippers up to the CAS gate. But, of course, I decided to wear them back prior to my official entrance to the college. When I got to our classroom, my block mates told me that there are no classes because Sir Jal is like trapped in his place. Haha. Minutes passed by and it’s official, all levels are suspended. But hey, it’s too late! But anyway, we just had some friendly conversation. I also enjoyed myself in listening to some good Fall Out Boy music. Yey!
